Every week, NBC takes care of 6 hours of primetime episodic promotion with two spots—its Chicago Wednesday and Law & Order Thursday promos.

Why I like these spots

Back-to-back viewing of three different, but related, series highlights a unique strength of linear television—something streamers can’t do. It’s a smart way to use valuable promo time and it efficiently builds attribution back to the network. Add to that how well the episodic clips are embedded in the franchise packaging and you’ve got some of the strongest episodic promotion on television.
