Yellowstone on CBS is an interesting case study. The premiere episode, that aired on CBS’ cable cousin, Paramount Network, more than 5 years ago, garnered 6 million viewers, 3 million of whom had never seen the series.

Why I like this spot

What was noteworthy is that Peacock, that has the rights to all seasons of Yellowstone, ran a competitive promo at the end of the show on CBS. That spot ended up increasing their streaming Yellowstone viewership by 26%. That’s the power of promo!
